Is Dorian's Beau Sticking Around? (SID 8/1/06)

For months, buzz has been circulating that Tuc Watkins (David) will be exiting One Life to Live in August. But this week's storyline twists indicate that David might just stay around!

The In Depth Story: As In Depth previously reported, sources have been whispering that Watkins intends to check out of Llanview in August. Rumor has the popular actor telling pals in Los Angeles that he'll soon be returning to the West Coast. One insider notes that it's common knowledge around the set that the actor has one foot out the door and is, in fact, selling his Manhattan digs.

But is Dorian's favorite ex really going to give up the fight? Although the soap seemed to be setting the stage for both the actor and the character to depart by having David confess to the murder of Thomas McBain, things take an interesting twist when a shocking discovery all but clears his name! Could this mean that Watkins is not leaving as rumored?

A spokesperson for the show insists that the story surrounding Thomas McBain's murder is playing out exactly as scripted from the beginning. And despite appearances, at least one source continues to insist that if Dorian wants one last roll in the hay with David, she'd best do it quickly!
