Dorian Sets David Straight! (SID 8/15/06)

When One Life to Live's David visited to say good-bye before jumping bail, we were instantly drawn in by the dynamic duo whose lives have drifted so far apart. "You can't keep running away forever," his ex scolded. When David explained that he'd confessed all to the McBain boys and was due in court that very moment to change his plea, she was able to read his thoughts. "And you're not going to show up, are you?" she asked. When he indicated that he wasn't, Dorian didn't hesitate to make her feelings known. "I did not fall in love with a coward!" she blasted. His insistance that guys like him didn't get second chances prompted her to hiss, "Make whatever decision is best for you -- you always do that anyway." Before parting ways, he gave her a kiss and told her to find a guy who appreciated her. But Dorian made sure to get the last word in. "David," she called out. "You are more of a man than you think you are." As has always been the case, she brought out the best in David...who headed directly to the courtroom.
