Has David Lost Dorian? (SID 3/14/06)

As One Life to Live's Dorian continues to grow closer to Clint this week, David finds himself the odd man out. But how much longer will that last? "Clint and Dorian have been in these absolutely horrible, humorless situations," says headwriter Dena Higley of Llanview's unlikeliest drinking partners, who seem poised to become something more. "And after awhile, you just have to blow off steam! It's like, 'I can't live this way anymore!'" But exactly where does that leave Dorian's erstwhile soulmate, David? "He and Dorian will reconnecte as co-conspirators and partners in machination, which is what they were always great at," previews the scribe. "I'm not saying that we're walking away from them forever as a romantic couple," she offers to fans who have been longing for a fix of their favorite Bickersons. "But it's going to be a much longer arc. We'll still have all the fun of Dorian and David, but I have to honor how strong she is. Nobody would [leave her at the altar] the way he did without long-lasting repercussions. She's going to make him suffer for that!"
