Can you believe it? Already the process is underway for the next Daytime Emmys, to be held in May. (The deadline for entry forms was a few weeks ago; ballots are due in late January.) And ecah year, OLTL vet Kassie DePaiva merits much buzz for her portrayal of beleaguered heroine Blair. How does DePaiva win over so many fans and peers? Castmate and onetime leading man Tuc Watkins (David) has some thoughts on the matter. "It's difficult for an actor to put across to an audience, via television, genuine feelings, thoughts and emotions, yet Kassie seems to do that very naturally," he explains. "That is rarely seen among any kind of actor, be it TV, film or stage. Kassie has that intangible quality that I think audiences crave, and she gives it to them."
