What brings Tuc Watkins back to the role of OLTL con man David Vickers, beginning this week?

The InDepth Story: Co-headwriter Michael Malone tells Soaps in Depth that "David is coming back having been tossed into a prison by Todd" at the conclusion of his previous, January 2002 appearance, when Vickers tried to blackmail the Lord heir with his knowledge of the "dead" baby Jack secret. The questions upon the schemer's return, says Malone, will be, "Was he let out of prison? What did Dorian have to do with that? And what does David want from Dorian?" The answers, says the scribe, "will be David's entry back into the show."

Furthermore, Malone notes, "David is very linked to the Cramer women," having wooed Dorian and Kelly in the past, "but you can expect him to stir up pots everywhere he finds them." Plus, as the mystery of what happened to Todd unfolds, Malone reminds viewers: "David and Todd do not like each other!"
